The real word press workshop is taking place this Thursday at 5 PM. We will meet at the Panera in Hyde Park Plaza.  Please let me know if you will be attending, as if we get more than 6 people, it might be a little tough to be productive in a public venue.

TOPICS: Overview of WordPress. Basic posting techniques, upload of media, use of the email system. Some “behind-the-scenes” admin/structure stuff. Outline areas of the site: blogs/posts, events, calendar, gallery, member tools, featured images and featured stories on main page.

If you have a laptop or tablet, bring it and we can get hands-on with the site. If there is someone you think would be good to get on board now, bring them along (but give me a name for head count).  My thought is that we’ll get more contributors in the near future, so it is not necessary that all contributors get on board right away.

Again, please let me know if you will attend. And if you have any questions or thoughts about the site that you want to discuss with me before Thursday, let me know.
