The Basics of Success on Etsy.com with Larry Watson

What is Etsy.com? Is it for me? How do I get started and establish my shop on Etsy? What are the most important tools for selling? How do I make my work look its best?

Etsy.com is an online shopping mall for arts and crafts, vintage items, and supplies that includes over 100,000 shops and 3,000,000 shoppers. Is it a good venue for selling your work? I’ve created a workshop on Etsy.com at the request of the Kentucky Arts Council and Morehead State U. and would love to serve artists in the Greater Cincinnati area with this information. Cost is $30. ONLY $25 if purchased before January 1.

As I’ve discovered, there are a lot of people who would like to find out if Etsy is for them, and how to create a viable shop that will produce sales. Join fellow craft artists to discover the basics for setting up your shop on Etsy.com and start selling tomorrow. This is information that I have learned over the past 5 years, and you could probably eventually learn them on your own, too. OR, you can learn  it in only 2.5 hours instead of 5 years.

Some of you have been wondering about Etsy, or you just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Some of you have an Etsy shop, and would like to know a couple more tools for your shop. This workship covers some basics and some advanced tools. This workshop is meant to start at the basics and go up from there. And if you are an advanced Etsy user, I’m sure we can learn from you during the Q & A!

My goal is to give you the information and confidence to set up your Etsy shop in one day. (Not Sunday, that’s Fong Choo’s workshop! I’ve seen it, and I recommend it.)
